Managing Large Programs and Multiple Projects "Organizing the organization" |
|
| |
"Quality is the result of a carefully constructed cultural environment. It has to be the fabric of the
organization, not part of the fabric."
-- Philip Crosby, Reflections on Quality |

Overview: |
Managing Large Programs and Multiple Projects
provides a hands-on seminar/workshop for increasing productivity in project-driven organizations. This course is for those responsible for leading or making major contributions to programs and projects with high visibility, risks or costs.
Participants use a (pre-session) Baseline Survey to assess their current practices. The results are compared to Technical Pathways' database of over 4000 surveys and
to best practices. The current practices that are furthest from best practices become the "Topic A's" for Managing Large Programs and Multiple Projects. Each seminar/workshop can focus on the
organization's highest priorities and address them in the workshop. The workshop is where the seminar's Topic A's can be applied. All of the course materials, including notes, forms and easy-to-use templates for
MS Office, including MS Project, are included. Participants leave this one- to two-day event with their action items posted in familiar tools like MS Excel, Outlook or even on-line! Topics are generally selected
from those listed below. This is managing multiple projects where it counts, delivered in a well-paced, interactive forum. Participants discover ways to improve practices, get organized and control costs.
